The Eurovision family is like many families: you have relatives you get along with and ones that you don’t quite see eye to eye with on one or several issues. Belarus, since entering Eurovision, has stirred controversy merely by its presence…after people find it on the map.

While JOY 94.9‘s WorldWideWave will be tackling Belarus  with regard to its dubious record in the LGBT arena in February as part of its Difficult Countries series, here at JOYEurovision we take things from the Eurovision-y side.
